So, I just found out that that the Sears repair guys can’t fix my washer until Tuesday of next week, by which time I could be completely buried in dirty underwear and socks. Not good.
In unrelated but equally bad news, our cable connection appears to have been jarred in a storm last night. Now, because we have all these services through the cable company, our internet connection, our telephone connection and our television have all been cutting in and out today.
Just goes to show you shouldn’t put all your eggs in one basket and then dump them on your head.
Needless to say, the site may be down, at least intermittently, until the cable company can send someone to fix the problem.
Since, for obvious reasons, I don’t want to get my clothes stinky between now and Tuesday, I’m trying not to sweat too much over this unpleasant cable situation.
So, woe is me. Woe is me. I’m gonna put my head in the oven.
Need a little help from your freinds? We could come look at your washer? If nothing else we could stand around and say, ” Thats odd. I’ve never seen a washing machine do that before.” See you tomorrow. Love you
It’s under warranty from Sears, so I’m gonna let them wrestle with it. 🙂
and woe is those of us who love you
all hail the cable company (i hear butt-kissing is popular in those circles, oh, let’s be honest, in ALL circles)
Good luck with the washer! Washing stuff by hand is terribly out of date, I know….
